My Want List: 2020 Hot Wheels Case Q - Part 1

Why hello there diecast collectors! Welcome to another edition of My Want List. On this edition, I'm going to be featuring the vehicles I wanted from this year's last Hot Wheels mainline assortment. I can't believe we're already at the final case for the year. Time sure has flown by. And I can honestly say this was another great year for mainline collectors. Overall, this year's mainline gave us some wonderful new castings, as well as some older castings like the '49 Merc that aren't used as much. And this final case features some great models as well. In total, this review is going to be three parts. With that said, let's get on with part one.

The first vehicle off of my want list, is the brand new 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. I love Ford's styling for this car. The front end is my favorite thing about it. In my opinion, it makes the car look very aggressive. And I'm delighted to see that Hot Wheels was able to give us a decent looking 1:64 scale replica of it.

The casting itself has multiple design aspects that make it a decent model to have. For starters, it was designed with side rear view mirrors. This is one aspect that is making these little cars more realistic. The next aspect has to do with the hood vents. What I like, is how the vents are a separate piece from the body. This is a much better casting design than having the vents be apart of the body. It also makes it so there is no need to make them look realistic with a black tampo coating, which can sometimes have alignment issues I might add.

There are many different preferences when it comes to a cars exterior and stripe color scheme. Most of them are great, but blue with white stripes is the one that I like the most. And that's what they went with for this release. I especially like the shade of metallic blue that was used.

Sadly, this model was not given any front or rear tampo details. These details would have added a little more realism to this model.

Now this model's real-life counterpart uses seven spoke wheels. This re-creation on the other hand, was given the Hot Wheels ten spoke wheels. I really wish the seven spoke wheels were used, as that would have given us a near perfect replica.

The second vehicle that I wanted from this case, is the brand new 2018 Bentley Continental GT3. It's nice to finally see a Bentley race car as a Hot Wheels casting. And I feel they did a marvelous job re-creating it in 1:64 scale. Like the GT500, this is another new casting that was designed with side rear view mirrors. Some of you might think it's a trivial aspect, but for me, it's one that can make a huge difference.

Overall, this debuting release's appearance appears to be based on an actual green Continental GT3 race car. Now since I haven't seen this model's real-life counterpart, I'm not entirely sure if the color used for this release is an exact match. But from the pictures I'm seeing, it's close enough.

The design in my opinion came out great, but there is one aspect of it that appears to be a Hot Wheels idea. And that aspect is the racing number circle with the number 8. One of the pictures that I found, showed the real car with a number box and the number 7 instead. I have no issue with this detail change, as it's not important enough to overshadow everything else that I like.

It wasn't just the sides of this release that got details. The top of this model also received the design as well. And that includes the racing number too. Additionally, "Bentley" was applied to the top of the wing. These are some awesome details, and they helped to make the model look complete. These details also help to overshadow the fact that none were applied to the front and rear ends of this model.

Finishing this model off nicely, are the Hot Wheels Y5 wheels. These wheels look fantastic on this model. I also found a picture of this model's real-life counterpart with wheels that looked somewhat similar to these. So I feel that it was a great choice to use them.

Up next, is the recolor of the '19 Mercedes-Benz A-Class. At first, I was perfectly happy with the red one that was released earlier this year. But now, I like this recolor more. For those of you that have been here before, then you'd know that matte finishes are one of the many aspects that I like about Hot Wheels and Matchbox models. That said, I really like how this model was finished in matte grey.

Now here's where it gets even better! This paint appears to be based on an actual one that's offered by Mercedes-Benz. The color is called Designo Mountain Grey Magno. Realistic paints like this, are one of the many aspects that I feel adds realism to these little cars. Just think, if you recently bought a real version of this car with the aforementioned grey, then you could now own a toy version of it. Cool right? I think so.

This release still has the same details as the red one. Even the license plate is the same. So there's nothing to really cover, which is usually the case with Hot Wheels recolors.

Unlike the red release that was given all black ten spoke wheels, this one was given the MC5 wheels with a chrome outer rim. These wheels are okay, but based on what I'm seeing, the best wheels for this casting are either the ten spokes or one of the two split five spoke wheels. The two I'm referring to, are the J5s and PR5s.

The next car that got checked off of my want list, is the '64 Chevy Chevelle SS. As you all know, this release also has a Super Treasure Hunt version. And as usual, that version was not on my want list. I can honestly say that I love seeing this casting in the mainline. There's nothing like a supercharged muscle car casting with a visible supercharger.

Now this ones exterior color, which is a very nice matte blue, is the main thing that I like about it. At first, I was on the fence about them giving this release Magnus Walker's Urban Outlaw theme. But now that I have this model, I actually have no problem with it. In terms of a design, nothing too crazy was applied. The designers chose to keep things simple by simply adding a few of the Urban Outlaw logos. Nothing was applied to the top of this model, which is fine by me.

The wheels chosen for this release, are the Hot Wheels 5SPs with a grey finish. I don't see a issue with these, especially since they were given a subtle color. Now I might have had a issue if they were finished in a bright color like red. Grey, chrome, and black are the only wheel colors that I feel will work with this release's theme. Of course, this is solely just my opinion. And for all I know, you the reader might like the way this release looks with gold wheels.

Okay readers, that's all for part one of my case Q want list. Be sure to stay tuned for part two and three. Until then, happy collecting.

Looking at: Last 2020 Matchbox Superfast Assortment

Okay collectors, it's once again time to take a look at a full diecast assortment. This time it's from this year's last Matchbox Superfast assortment. This year's Superfast has given us some wonderful models to collect. Earlier in the year, we got models like the '74 Dodge Challenger and a nicely decorated '59 Volkswagen Microbus. Then we got models like the racing themed '71 Nissan Skyline 2000 GTX and a '18 Range Rover Vogue SE that's finished in a nice shade of orange. And now, we got five more models that are all just as nice the first ten models. So without further ado, let's get today's in-depth review started.

The '80 Porsche 911 Turbo is up first. I had to start with this one, as it's one of the cooler models from this assortment. Although this isn't the first one to feature a design, it is the first one to feature a racing theme. Now before I get to the design, I should also mention that I like how they chose to finish this model's exterior in grey. This was the perfect canvas color for the design's colors.

The main colors used for the design, are orange and yellow. Black was utilized for the outlines. Overall, the design itself is somewhat simple. And I do mean simple in a good way. The design on the sides was designed to match the shape of this Porsche's fender and quarter panel. Designs that are shaped to match a vehicles body, are actually really cool in my opinion. The design applied to the top of this model was done in a similar fashion. It matches the shape of the hood as well as the roof.

As I've already mentioned, this release has a racing theme. As such, it was given a racing number circle with the number 2. It was also applied to the hood. This is something that I like to see. Being placed on top of the model makes the racing theme look more complete. One of the design aspects that I thought was interesting, was how the decision was made to make the side racing number small and place it on the quarter panel. I'm used to seeing a detail like this placed on the doors. So for me, this is one of the things that makes this model neat.

Sadly, this Porsche wasn't given any of the decals that I like to see on race themed models. It was however, given a few like "Porsche" that was applied to the sides as well as the roof and "Matchbox" which was only applied to the roof. The hood was given "Superfast" as well as the other Matchbox fantasy decals that were placed on the sides of this model.

Details were applied to the front and rear of this model, however, it was the rear end that received the most. "Porsche" was placed over the detailed tail lights, and "Turbo" was placed above that. And "Matchbox" was applied beneath those.

Like the first Superfast release of this Porsche, this too was given the lace wheels. These wheels will always work on a racing themed car. In fact, if I'm honest, these type of wheels would look great on any Porsche. Now with the ones on this model, I really like how the decision was made to make them bronze with a chrome lip. For me, this was an excellent color choice as it goes so well with the color scheme featured on the exterior of this model.

Up next, is the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. This release was given some great looking design aspects, and being finished in white helped to make it all possible. After all, white makes it so a design can feature a wider variety of colors. The overall design utilizes black, red, and yellow. The main section of it, is a cool looking pattern done in black that spans the entire length of the sides. Two red slanted stripes are featured over the front wheel arch. Personally, stripes placed over a pattern is a neat little idea.

The designer of this release also decided to give the sides of this model a black stripe with a thinner yellow stripe within it. This stripe also created a great space for the decals to be placed. Now the decals featured on this model are all fantasy ones, but the designers that work for Mattel's diecast brands do a good job at making realistic looking ones. The SVT Raptor logo applied to this model, is nicely sized and was placed in a slanted position. Aside from the size and position of it, I also like how the decision was made to make it yellow with a red outline. The back half of this model's sides were given a red number box with the number 8 and another fantasy decal. This section was also given this tail light details.

The theme on the sides is continued on the front and rear ends of this model. Like the sides, the front was given red stripes. This pickup truck's grill letters were done in red, which looks cool over the grill details. And of course, the front was also given detailed headlights. The red stripes were also applied to the tailgate. A black tampo was also placed on the center section of the tailgate. Within it, are the Matchbox and SVT Raptor logos.

One of the other things that I like about this release, is how it was given a red base. In my eyes, this complements the theme featured on this model nicely.

The wheels given to this release appear to be the RRDragS from Mattel's Hot Wheels brand. I must say, these wheels look really good on this particular model. I do have one small gripe though, and it's with the tire choice. Racing slick styled tires don't go with the off-road theme in my opinion. So for me, I feel the tires should have been ones with tread. Now I'm not entirely sure, but there is a possibility that those kind of tires wouldn't have fit this casting's wheel wells. So the tires are ultimately something I can ignore.

The '68 Dodge D200 Pickup 4X4 is the next vehicle from this assortment. This is third release of this casting, and it is the first one to feature a design. It was also given a nice color scheme. Like white, black is another great exterior color for a design that features multiple colors. Applied to this release, is a nice custom Skyjaker Suspension livery that utilizes orange, white, and grey. The design that was created looks fantastic. What I like, is how it was made using of stripes and tear style graphics.

The sides of this release were given two additional details. They are "Zoltan Racing" and "MBX Off Road." Now yes, their designers are great at making fantasy decals, but for a model that cost $5, you would expect to at least see some additional real-life aftermarket decals as well. But at the end of the day, a decal is better than no decal. Completing the sides of this model, is this pickup's fender emblem.

This release's hood was given the livery as well. The Skyjacker logo was placed in a slanted position over a orange tear design that's on the passenger side of the hood. With the logo, I think it was a great idea to make it big enough to span across most of the hood.

Only the rear of this release was given details, which is fine by me. The white and orange stripe that runs along the top of this model's sides, is continued on the rear with the Skyjacker logo placed over it. The lower half of the tailgate was given a thin orange pinstripe that outlines the section of the tailgate with the raised letters. This additional pinstripe was a nice touch in my opinion. Smaller details like this, can go a long way when it comes to the overall appearance of a model. The rear was also given tail lights. What's interesting about them, is that the detail appears to be an outline of lights. Personally, this gives the model the look of having custom tail lights. It really doesn't look too bad regardless of whether or not they were trying to go for that look.

The wheels chosen for this release, appear to be the RRPrf from Mattel's Hot Wheels brand. Personally, it was a great idea to make them orange. Being this color helps to further liven up this model. Now unlike the SVT Raptor, this D200 was given off-road tires. For this model, I couldn't  have asked for a better wheel and tire combination than this.

One of the other things that I like about this release, is how it was given a chrome plastic base. As you know, the two mainline releases were given a grey plastic one.  I feel a chrome one looks better on a casting like this where the base is also the bumpers.

The '62 Jeep Willys Wagon is the fourth vehicle from this assortment. This is the first Superfast release of this casting, and it looks slightly cooler than the first two. Now this has nothing to do with it being blue. Although... it is a cool shade of dark blue. The design applied to this release is what I think makes this one cooler. This release's designer, chose to give this model the appearance of being a woody. From what I found out, this was something that was sometimes done to this model's real-life counterpart. And even if it wasn't, I'd still think it was a neat idea for this model.

Although it was given woody details, there are specific sections that were left blue. A pattern that consist of triangles was applied to the section that's underneath the rear windows. This pattern was a nice touch and it complements the overall appearance of this release.

No details were applied to the front of this release, which is something I can look past since the woody theme was also applied to the rear. That even includes the sections that were left blue as well as the pattern that's featured on the sides. The rear end was also given some additional design aspects that further add to the coolness of this release.

For this release's wheels, the decision was made to use the six spoke ones that Matchbox uses for these kind of models. The only bad thing about these, is that they have the same spoke count as the basic wheels that were used for this model's Moving Parts releases. Since Matchbox does appears to be able to use some of the wheels from Hot Wheels, I feel this release should have been given a Real Rider wheel. Some of the wheels that come to mind, are the Hot Wheels RRS or SRRs. As you all know, the 2019 release of the Matchbox '32 Ford Pickup had the RRS wheels, so Matchbox should have been able to use those.

Similar to the D200, this is also the first release of this casting with a chrome base. And chrome is a much better look for this model's front and rear bumpers.

The last vehicle from this assortment, is the '64 Pontiac Grand Prix. This is the third release of this casting, and it is also the first Superfast release of it. Like the first two releases, this one was also just given a nice shade of red. In my opinion, this is one of those classic cars that does not ever need a design to be cool.

The next two aspects that make this a great looking model to have, are the interior color and base. The decision was made to once again use a tan interior for this model. This is fine by me since it helps to liven things up a little. And red cars do look okay with tan interiors. Like the D200 and Willys Wagon, this is the first release of this casting to feature a chrome plastic base. There are some diecast models that simply look more realistic with a chrome base, and this is one of them.

One of the things that makes this one a little better than the first two, are it's front and rear details. The ones featured on this model, are lights and the year 1964 placed over black square on the license place section. I'm not quite sure if this detail is supposed to be a license plate, as it doesn't have some of the other aspects that would be present on a plate. The details applied to the sides of this release, are the same ones that were applied to the first two releases.

The wheels given to this release, are the Hot Wheels RRLW5s. I think we can all agree that these wheels look fantastic on this model.

Okay collectors, so that's all five of the vehicles from this Superfast assortment. This year's set has turned out great, and I really hope the Matchbox team decides to continue this line for many years to come.

Now I don't have a specific favorite among these five models, as I like each one of theme equally. But if you do, go ahead and let me know down in the comments section.Well that's all for this edition of Looking at. Until next time, thanks for reading and happy collecting.

White Booth Wednesday #59

It's #whiteboothwed, here's this week’s showcase.

Vehicle: Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage
Series: 2018 Hot Wheels Exotics
Boulevard rating: 10
What I like most: I absolutely love this release! Now I'm not just saying that because it's is a Kmart exclusive. As you already know, blue is my favorite color and I love this shade of it. But being blue is not the only thing I like about it. Since it's a replica of the Aventador Miura Homage, it has multiple gold features. Blue and gold is a very cool color scheme in my opinion. So it's this release's overall color scheme that I like. And it's the sole reason I gave it a ten.

So readers, what would be your rating for this release? Go ahead and let me know down in the comments. As always, happy diecast collecting!

My Want List: 2020 Hot Wheels Pop Culture Case H - Vintage Oil

Alright everyone, welcome to another edition of My Want List. Like people, the reasons for collecting diecast are diverse. Some might collect for the value, while others might collect out of a general love for vehicles. There are even collectors out there that only collect a specific vehicle. I'm the type of collector that likes to collect out of a general love for vehicles. For me, all vehicles are works of art.  This is one of the reasons as to why I don't care for special diecast like the Super Treasure Hunt releases from Hot Wheels. So long story short, when I see a vehicle that I like, that is the one that I will get.

Now I should also mention that I will usually only get releases that make sense. That decision is why there were only two vehicles that I wanted out of the Vintage Oil Pop Culture Assortment. Now some of you might be wondering what I mean by releases that make sense. For me, it all comes down to what type of vehicle it is, as well as what type of design it was given if any. With that said, the 1937 Haulin' Gas and the '38 Dodge Airflow were the only two that I wanted from this Vintage Oil Pop Culture assortment.

Back in the 1930's, there was a vehicle that was known as as the Texaco Doodlebug. The Doodlebug was basically a streamlined tanker truck. For those of you that didn't know, the Hot Wheels casting know as the Haulin' Gas is based on the aforementioned tanker. This is what I meant by vehicles that make sense. In my opinion, tanker trucks are the best models for a oil themed Hot Wheels assortment.

With this haulin' Gas release, it is the first one to feature a theme that I feel is appropriate for the casting. The casting made it's debut back in 2011 with a Milk Duds theme. After that, it had various themes from different media franchises. Though not Texaco, I do like the Gilmore Oil Company theme that was chosen for this release. A fun fact about Gilmore, is that it was started by a dairy farmer that struck black gold when he was attempting to find water.

Now since this is a tanker truck, I do feel they should have used different wheels. The RR5SP's look nice, but I feel this release would have looked much better with the RRS wheels. Since I'm glad to finally have one with an oil theme, the wheel choice is not that big of a deal.

It's the same story with the '38 Dodge Airflow. Like the Haulin' Gas, this casting is also based on a real tanker truck. In total, this is the fourth release of this casting. It is also the first one to feature a oil theme, which is a little surprising since it is a tanker truck after all. Debuting in 2012, this casting's first release was given a Supergirl theme. After that, it was Star Trek followed by Captain America.

This release is representing Agip. Utilizing the company's theme, the Hot Wheels designers created a nicely decorated model. For me, it has the appearance of being a replica of an official Agip tanker truck. Regardless of the company it's representing, I think the casting itself looks really good finished in yellow.

Unlike the Haulin' Gas, this truck was thankfully given the RRS wheels. These kind of wheels just look right on a vehicle like this.

So collectors, I think you might have a better idea of why I solely wanted these two. The other three from this set are as follows: a Gulf themed '83 Silverado, a Shell themed Dodge Little Red Express, and a Valvoline themed '63 Studebaker Champ. These are all great castings and releases, but for me, they just don't make sense in a set like this.

With the Gulf themed Silverado, I might have acquired it if the overall theme on it wasn't so plain. I feel it should have at least been given some additional decals. You know, just to give it the look of being customized. I mean... it is a nice release, but decals like Champion Spark Plugs or Goodyear would have made a huge difference in my opinion.

When it comes to the Valvoline themed Studebaker, I feel they should have used a different casting. In my opinion, the '49 COE would have been a much better choice for a Valvoline theme. The theme would have made it have the appearance of a official company delivery truck.

All in all, I wish Hot Wheel had more of a variety when it comes to tanker truck castings. Like I said, tanker trucks in my opinion are the best models for a oil themed Hot Wheels assortment.

Alright, so I suspect everyone is going to go after the Silverado. Now if you're not, then go ahead and let me know down in the comments which of the ones you're going after. Also feel free to let me know your thoughts on the idea of tankers being the best for a set like this. Okay, that's all for this edition of My Want List. Until next time, happy collecting.

Today on the Boulevard: Matchbox Bugatti Divo

Hello and welcome to another edition of Today on the Boulevard. In a previous My Want List review, I went over the vehicles that I wanted from this year's Matchbox mix F. In that review, I made mention of how I was unable to get a specific vehicle. And at the end of the post, I told you all that I would make a post about said vehicle if I found it. So as promised, here is that post.

Like the title states, the car I was missing was the brand new Bugatti Divo. This is another one of those cars that is a jaw-dropping work of art. And I love how Mattel's Matchbox brand was able to give us collectors a nice looking 1:64 scale re-creation of it.

Just like this model's real-life counterpart, this diecast model's exterior was finished in a flat grey. Now the real car also has sections of it's exterior that are blue. The real car also features a blue interior. Matchbox was thankfully able to replicate some of these sections on their model. The interior piece is the first of those details. There is a reason as to why I pointed out the interior first. Due to the design of this casting, it's interior piece makes up the blue section that runs along the sides of the Divo. For the lower half of the front, a blue tampo was applied. Unfortunately the rear does not feature any of the blue sections. It was however, given tail lights and "Divo."

The top of this model is where the next accurate details are seen. Featured just behind the headlights, are the vents that were given a blue tampo coating. After that, it's the black sections that have a thin blue stripe. I like how the thin stripe accurately runs from the front to the back of this model.

For this release's wheels, the Matchbox designers decided to use the 5 Spoke Superfast Sport wheels. Looking at the shape of the real-life counterpart's wheels, leads me to believe that lace wheels might have been a better choice. Despite this opinion, I ultimately don't have an issue with the wheels that were chosen.

The real car also features blue line Michelin tires. Since this isn't a premium release, that detail was of course not added. If they wanted to, Matchbox could've gave the wheels a blue outer rim. But not having this detail is not a big deal for me.

Looking at this model makes me glad to see that Mattel got the legal okay to use Bugatti again. Hopefully this will lead to even more of this manufactures cars getting releases in the future. I know Matchbox is most likely going to do a second release of this model next year. And I'm totally curious to see what color they choose for the next one.

Alright readers, I already know you love this car a whole lot. So what I want to know, is what color would you choose for the next release? Go ahead and let me know down in the comments. Okay that's all for today's edition of Today on the Boulevard. Until next time, thanks for reading and happy diecast collecting.

White Booth Wednesday #58

It's #whiteboothwed, here's this week’s showcase.

Vehicle: '65 Ford Ranchero
Series: 2018 Hot Wheels Ford Trucks set
Boulevard rating: 8
What I like most: As usual, the paint used is the first of the things that I like. The shade of metallic gold that was chosen for this release looks awesome. I also like the additional scallop design, which I feel was a nice touch. The Hot Wheels DD8 wheels are another thing that I like about this release. These kind of steel wheels look great on classic American vehicles like this one.

So readers, what would be your rating for this release? Go ahead and let me know down in the comments. As always, happy diecast collecting!

My Want List: 2020 Matchbox Moving Parts Case G

Hello and welcome to another edition of My Want List. For today's post, I going to be going over the vehicles that I wanted from the new Matchbox Moving Parts assortment. This time, there were only three that I wanted. The other two vehicles featured are repeats from previous assortments. With that said, let's go over the three vehicles that are new.

Time and time again, I have made mention of how I love the look of classic sports cars. So I was overjoyed to find out we were going to be getting another beautiful diecast model. Making it's debut in this assortment, is the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. I'm so glad Matchbox decided to make this casting for their Moving Parts line. This allowed them to make this classic with a back half that accurately opens to reveal this car's engine.

The details given to this model are the usual ones that might get applied to these kind of releases. However, this model was also given an additional set of details. These additional details were applied to the engine. It's not often that we get a Mattel made diecast model with engine details. As you all know, this aspect is usually seen with high-end models like the Hot Wheels Redline Club cars. So I'm glad Mattel's Matchbox brand gives all of us non Redline Club collectors a chance to own a great looking model with engine details.

Now the engine details aren't the only thing that makes this a cool model to have. In my opinion, the Matchbox designers know what they're doing when it comes to choosing an exterior color for classic cars like this one. The color chosen for this release, is a light blue that makes any classic car look great.

One of the interesting decisions made for this model, was the choice to give it a red interior. I don't know how the overall diecast community feels about a red interior combined with a light blue exterior, but I kind of like how this car looks with the combination. Now from the pictures that I've seen, some of the actual 550s have red interiors. Of course some of those might have actually been a replica and not the actual car.

The wheels given to this debuting release, are the Matchbox Ringed Disk wheels. I don't think I have to go into detail about why these are one of the best wheels for this model.

The second new vehicle from this assortment, is the Datsun 280 ZX. So far, this is the third release of this casting, and it's just as good if not better than the first two. This release's exterior color is the main thing that I like about it. This Datsun's exterior was given the same light blue that was applied to the Porsche. Like I mentioned, this blue makes any classic car look great.

The first two were given designs that were a little on the wilder side, whereas this one features a design that's more subtle. Now don't get me wrong, the other ones are cool in their own right, it's just nice to finally have one like this. Similar to the first one, this ones design is only on the top half of it. And to be more specific, it was only applied to the hood.

One decision that seems to be common, is the incorporation of gold into the overall color scheme. The stripe design on the hood is gold with a white outline. Although it would have been nice to get one with a completely different set of colors, I won't deny how cool this 280 ZX looks with gold and light blue used for it's color scheme.

This release was given black Matchbox 5 Spoke Superfast Sport wheels with a gold outer rim. Gold used for the wheels is another decision that's similar to the first two. As nice as this is, I hope we eventually get a 280 ZX release with all silver wheels. You know, just to switch things up a little.

There is one aspect of this release that's finally different. Unlike the first two that were given a tan interior, this one was given a grey one.

I don't solely just like the look of classic cars, I also like the look of classic pickup trucks as well. So I was happy to see another release of the 1963 Chevy C10 Pickup. This casting made it's Moving Parts debut last year, and is still going strong with this third release. For the most part, nothing is really new in terms of the exterior details. The front and rear of this truck were left plain. And the sides were given the same details that were applied to the first two.

Details aside, I really like the choice to make this release's exterior red. As you all know, the first two were given dark colors. Now there's nothing wrong with them, as the colors picked were not bad. But I will admit that it's nice to finally have one with a bright exterior color. Let's be honest, red is one of those colors that just works for a classic pickup truck. And this is coming from someone that really likes blue.

Like the first Moving Parts release of this truck, this too is sporting the Matchbox Ringed Disk wheels. Collectors in general should have no issue with these being used for this release. These wheels are basically a period correct style of wheel for this 1963 C10.

This model was given a grey interior, and due to how this casting is made, that also means that it's engine section is grey. As such, I wish details were applied to this release's engine. Having them would have added some color to the dark engine section. Of course, this will probably not be an issue for the overall diecast community. But for me, it would have been a nice touch.

Alright collectors, that's the three new vehicles that were featured in this Moving Parts assortment. For those of you wondering what the other two vehicles were, they are the Divco Milk truck and the black 2018 Range Rover Vouge SE.

Obviously my favorite vehicle from this assortment is the Porsche 550 Spyder. I hope to see many great future releases of it. It might also be cool if we eventually got a racing themed release as well. Nothing too crazy, just a simple theme that features a racing number and maybe a stripe.

So readers, how do you feel about the three new vehicles in this assortment? Feel free to let me know down in the comments section. Okay, that's all for today's edition of My Want List. Until next time, thanks for reading and happy collecting.
