Looking at: 2020 Target Flying Customs (Not All)

Recently, I was able to get my hands on some of the newest Hot Wheels Target exclusive Flying Colors. Unfortunately, like the title mentions, I wasn't able to get all of them. However, I do really like the three that I was able to get. One of the things with this set that I like, is how most of the cars use the HO wheels. I feel, these wheels help to complete that retro Hot Wheels look. So without further ado, let's go over what I got.

Featured first, is the metallic green '68 Nova. For the longest time, I never realized that Hot Wheels had two different '68 Nova castings. The only difference being the hood. The casting that was used for this set, features the hood scoop. In fact, this marks my second '68 Nova with the scoop, with my first one being from the Detroit Muscle set. This Nova, features a nice stripe design, with a great combination of colors. What I like, is how they designed the yellow stripes to run underneath the green stripes. And all of this continues on the hood as well.

Up next, is the Custom '72 Chevy LUV. Since I didn't stay at the store long, I didn't stop to take a close look at each one I had. So at the time, I had no idea that this LUV was an error. As you'll see from the picture, the rear wheel is wrong. After holding the pack in a way, so that I could see the other side, it turns out that it's just this one wheel. At the moment, I'm still deciding whether or not, I should try to get another one. Aside from that, I like how nice and simple this Chevy LUV is. In my opinion, this stripe design is straight out of the '70s. And I feel, it's right at home on this '72 LUV. I especially like it's color combination of yellow, orange, and black.

The '13 Copo Camaro is the last one that I was able to get. To be honest, I do feel that, they could've used a different car besides this one. If not a different car, then how about one of the older Camaro models. For me, this Camaro not having the HO wheels, makes it seem a little out of place from the rest of the cars featured in this set. However, I will admit that, it's not a bad looking model. I can also understand why they didn't use the HO wheels for this casting. Since this is a drag car, it has a realistic thin wheel up front. And to my knowledge, the don't have a thin version of the HO wheels.
Like the Nova, this Camaro also has a design on it's hood, or more specifically, on the lifted section of the cowl hood.

All in all, this is shaping up to be one fantastic looking Target exclusive set. And I really like how each car features a nice stripe design. With that said, the hunt goes on for the rest of the cars, and possibly a replacement for the LUV. I will of course, make another one of these post, if I find more. Okay readers, were you able to find some of these amidst this pandemic, feel free to let me know down in the comments. Until next time, happy collecting!
