Today on the Boulevard: Small talk about the 180SX

I'm honestly a little disappointed with one of the releases of the Nissan 180SX. I have the first release, which is red, but I'm talking about the choice to use black for the Street Tuners release. Black and white do make a good canvas for drift cars. You can chose from a wider variety of colors for a design. For example a red 180SX, with a green design wouldn't look so good. But on a black 180SX, it would work. You could do a green design, then add some white, and make it a Tein drift livery. The first two pictures are from the mainline.

The Greddy one is okay, because I have the white release. White being the better one, since those are the Greddy racing colors. The Advan one is also okay, because these are the Yokohama Advan racing colors. My gripe is with the plain 180SX from Car Culture Street Tuners.

I have to say, I feel like they rushed this one a little bit. As you can see from the first two pictures, there is a recurring theme of black with gold wheels. And yes, each one features a different wheel. But my issue is with the body color. There are a lot of colors they could've chose for this one. For example, yellow with six spoke wheels, is one of the many design decisions they could've done. I do have my fingers crossed, that we'll get a different colored premium 180SX, with different wheels. What are your thoughts on them choosing to use black for this release? What color would you like to see on a premium 180SX? Alright, that's all for today on the boulevard, happy collecting!
